With the new 2019 Walt Disney World Vacation Packages now available, that also means changes to the Disney Dining Plan for 2019. Looking at the changes we see there is an increase on Kids prices for the 2019 Disney Dining Plan, whereas Adults prices are staying the same.
Prices for all three plans: Quick Service, Regular and Deluxe have all gone up about $2-3.50 per child per night.
Here’s the updated 2019 Disney Dining Plan Prices breakdown:
- Quick Service Disney Dining Plan
- Adult – $52.50 (0% increase from 2018)
- Child – $23.78 (increase of $2.04 from $21.74 in 2018)

Is the 2019 Disney Dining Plan Worth It?
That’s a loaded question and not one that can be easily answered unfortunately. That’s going to depend on your family’s eating habits.
First thing that jumps out to me is that it’s strange to not see any increase at all for the adult prices. You can be happy about that as long as you don’t have kids, as the price increased for them on the Disney Dining Plan a lot for 2019. They must not have been making enough money off the kids as each level (Quick Service, Regular and Deluxe Disney Dining Plans) had the biggest jump they’ve ever had with increases from $2-3.50 per kid.
As you know Disney introduced alcohol to the Regular and Deluxe Disney Dining Plans last year with mixed reviews among guests, but as long as you don’t have kids you can be happy going into 2019 with these changes and it makes the Dining Plan a decent bargain for you. If you do have kids then you’ll have to decide if it’s a good value depending on how much your children eat. If they are good eaters then the Dining Plan might be for you. If not then you’ll have to add up the prices for how much you think they’ll eat to see if it’s worth it.
If you’re looking for convenience then the Disney Dining Plan of course will make things much easier as you can just pay for your meals ahead of time and not worry about that once you get to the parks.
You can always splurge and get Annual Passes if you go to Disney World enough and then get the Tables in Wonderland Card which will help you save a boatload on your table service meals.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
