Disney has announced that reported that Toy Story Mania in Hollywood Studios is closing for 1 week in June to get the attraction ready for the opening of Toy Story Land on June 30th. The dates it will be closed are: June 11th – 18th and reopening on June 19th.
UPDATE 6/19/18: Toy Story Mania is now back up in Disney’s Hollywood Studios though it’s had some technical difficulties so far today. Guests can see some of the new additions to the new exit off tracks 1 and 2 as well as some additions to the attraction queue, though we won’t see everything until going through the new entrance in Toy Story Land.
Also Toy Story Land Cast Members could be seen today wearing their new costumes.
ORIGINAL STORY: Toy Story Mania has also been stand-by only without FastPass+ for over weeks now and starting today May 9th you can start making FastPass+ reservations for dates beginning May 20th. Just not during that week it will be down.
Once June 30th comes around and Toy Story Land opens up, Toy Story Midway Mania will have a brand new attraction queue to show off, and it will be located on the opposite side of the building in Toy Story Land. The Pixar Place entrance will be closed down.
Don’t forget to check our Toy Story Land FastPass+ Strategy Guide for tips on how to manage your FastPass+ reservations as they are now available to book even for the new attraction.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
