Well we finally have some more info on the Portobello restaurant replacement. We’re super excited to hear about Terralina coming to Disney Springs this Fall, at least the press release says Fall, we know how that goes… Either way it’s going to be another great addition to the amazing lineup of restaurants there. Terralina is taking over the exact spot on The Landing where Portobello was, right next to Paddlefish, another old Disney Springs restaurant recently renovated.
As if you couldn’t tell from the name, Terralina is an Italian Trattoria run by James Beard Award-winning chef Tony Mantuano, who will be creating a whole new menu for the place, as well as Chef Justin Plank who will be back running the kitchen.
This is not just a name and menu change, Terralina is getting a complete multi-million dollar transformation. The style will be what you expect to see from a building in Italy’s Lake District (Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Lake Garda) with an open kitchen, new dining rooms and veranda bar outside the main entrance.
The menu designed by Chef Mantuano is authentic Italian cuisine, much of which uses his signature olive oil imported directly from Italy. Expect Artisanal Pizzas and Fresh Vegetable Dishes in a wood-fired oven. Also his two signature dishes are Mussels and Grilled Pork Chops will be there along with the Antipasti platter and signature Pastas.
“Focusing on the hearth of the kitchen dishes will embody the passion and flare of the flames,” said Mantuano.
“We are excited to have created Terralina Crafted Italian with a vision to deliver authentic food, hospitality and every last detail as part of a memorable guest experience,” said Andy Lansing, president and CEO of Levy Restaurants, who owns the restaurant.
Terralina will be open for lunch and dinner. We don’t know exactly when the opening date is other than Fall, stay tuned…

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
