Stitch's Great Escape Closing For Good this Time!
In a move we've all come to expect for some time now, Stitch's Great Escape in Disney's Magic Kingdom is finally closing for good once the holiday season is over in January. This comes as now surprise as over the last year Stitch's Great Escape has been on-off again and mostly only running during the busiest times of the year. It's opening again this holiday season from December 23, 2017 through January 6th, 2018 and then will be closed for good!
For a very short period this year, Stitch's Great Escape shut down and was turned into a Character Meet-and-Greet spot, but obviously Disney realized that wasn't working and it came back in the attraction form. For some time speculation has been about another attraction coming to replace Stitch's Great Escape, so now we will finally get to see that happen! At this time there is no word on what the attraction will be, but at this point most Disney fans will be happy with just about anything.
Expect an official announcement from Disney soon. The last day for Stitch's Great Escape is January 6th, 2018, so if you have to get one last ride outta your system, go for it.
