Rumor: Brazil is Being Added to Epcot’s World Showcase

Brazil is Being Added to EpcotFor sometime now we’ve been hearing that another country is coming to Epcot, now it seems likely that Brazil is being added to Epcot’s World Showcase.  The Brazil Pavilion would go on the expansion pad between Italy and Germany, where the current miniature train set is.

The area of land is a good size at 1.5 acres and now holds storage containers.  The Brazil pavilion would most likely have an attraction too, but it’s currently unknown what that would be.  There are currently a bunch of rumors about the Epcot Expansion/Overhaul and this would be part of “Phase 1” of that.

I think Brazil is a great choice for a new world showcase pavilion, it’s always included in the Food and Wine Festival and is always one of the best and most popular marketplaces.  Any chance at getting that Pork Belly all year long???

I talked about a new World Showcase pavilion specifically Brazil or Spain in my Top 10 D23 Expo Rumored Announcements.  Disney of course isn’t saying anything right now but you can expect to hear more about it in 2 weeks from now at the D23 Expo!  Stay tuned!!

Your Thoughts:

I want to know what you think about the possibility that Brazil is being added to Epcot.  Do you think Brazil is a good choice?  What other country would you prefer over it?   Let us know in the comments section below!
