Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland Closing for 1 1/2 Months

You all are well aware by now of how the infamous Redhead Auction Scene in Pirates of the Caribbean is getting changed out for a more mild version.  This is happening in most versions of the attraction around the world and now we know that the Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland is closing for 1 1/2 months for that refurbishment.

Pirates of the Caribbean will be closed from April 23 to June 7, 2018 as wdwinfo.com is reporting.

The Disneyland Paris version of Pirates of the Caribbean has already been changed, and the Magic Kingdom version in Walt Disney World is currently getting refurbished now from February 26 to March 18, 2018.

Instead of the women in the scene getting sold, it will be pirates auctioning off stolen goods from the town.  Like it or hate it, that’s how it will be from now on.
