Just last month we learned that Walt Disney World guests now have to pay for overnight parking of they are coming with a vehicle. However, this apparently isn’t true for everyone, or at least not yet. A quick look at the U.K. version of the Disney World Website shows that there are No Overnight Parking Fees for residents of the United Kingdom or Ireland in Walt Disney World through 2019.
Here’s a snippet from the website asking if United Kingdom residents have to pay the overnight parking fees:
Again, this applies only for United Kingdom and Ireland residents, anyone else has to pay the overnight parking fees. The obvious question is why? Disney obviously feels like it has to give U.K. residents a little more incentive to come to Walt Disney World, and this is an extra offer it’s giving, much like the 2019 Disney World UK Residents Free Dining offer it just released today (which is awesome by the way!)
Must be the luck of the Irish.
Your Thoughts:
I want to know what you think about the United Kingdom and Ireland residents not paying the overnight parking fees.
- Do you think it’s fair?
- What do you think about the parking fees?

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.

Are they asking for proof of residency or can I come in with a bloody awesome accent and ask for my parking fees to be cheerio'd with?
