The countdown to the opening is on, and today Disney Pandora The World of Avatar Extra Magic Hours and FastPass+ Info. You had to know that the Animal Kingdom park hours were going to extended considering they put all this time and money into Pandora saying how it’s going to be amazing at night, when so far on the calendar past the spring the hours weren’t late at all.
Disney now gave us a little light on the subject, Starting on opening day May 27th through July 4th Walt Disney World Resort guests will be able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours at Night from 11pm to 1am, these hours however are limited to Pandora only as the rest of the park will be closed. That’s great news and that means that if Extra Magic Hours start at 11pm, the rest of the park should be open to 11pm which will give you lots of time to explore.
Disney also gave us info on FastPass+ info for Pandora, confirming the speculation that you will only be able to book one of the two Pandora attractions (Flight of Passage or Na’vi River Journey) not both. I would recommend watching the first few weeks to see the pattern of the two attractions and see which one has bigger lines, then book for that one and tough it out in line on the other. We’ll see if this leads to a Animal Kingdom Tiered FastPass+ System in the near future…
FastPass+ reservations can be made on the My Disney Experience App up to 60 days ahead of the first day of your vacation. Stay tuned for more info….

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
