With construction for Toy Story Land winding up, some changes regarding the already existing attractions in the area in Disney’s Hollywood Studios are underway. Cast Members again have confirmed that there will be No FastPass+ for Toy Story Midway Mania from April 12 to May 7 2018. FastPass+ reservations will not be available so if you want to ride Toy Story Midway Mania, then you’ll have to wait in the standby line to do so. (UPDATED: April 9, 2018)
During this time Toy Story Mania will also be reduced in capacity with only one of the attraction’s tracks open at that time. Disney is intermittently closing the two original tracks to Midway Mania, so once it is fully running for the opening of Toy Story Land things will go much faster, but if you’re visiting Walt Disney World during the dates above and want to get on Toy Story Mania then you’ll just need a little patience.
Toy Story Midway Mania is also completely changing its entrance queue, moving off Pixar Place and flipping sides on the building into Toy Story Land itself. That’s why some of the tracks will be closed during this period to make way for the new queue. I can’t wait to see the new interactive queue when it’s finished, I hear it’s going to be even more interactive and immersive than the original!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
