Starting July 9th Disney is offering a new Walt Disney World annual pass for Florida Residents called the “Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass.” That’s a mouthful!
As you may know, Disney has always had an Annual Pass for Florida Residents, but it’s usually severely limited with many days of blackout dates, meaning they can’t go to the parks. Basically this new annual pass allows more flexibility for Florida residents who want to go to at least one theme park, giving them 325 days of access at select theme parks. Passholders can check the theme park availability online on the 13-month blackout calendar.
This new Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass is priced at $439 making it a less expensive than a platinum or gold pass.
Disney has also announced new add-ons for the Florida Resident Disney Weekday Select, Florida Resident Theme Park Select and Florida Resident Disney Silver passes. For $89 you can purchase an add-on for Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Disney’s Animal Kingdom through August 9 2018 which is usually a blackout period for those passholders.
You can purchase the Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass or the add-on starting July 9th.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
