As the construction of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge continues to move along, we now have 2 Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Restaurant Permits filed with Orange County today January 17th by Walt Disney Imagineering for Hollywood Studios. The project these permits refer to is for Project D, which is famously the code name for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, and refer to 2 new restaurants coming there.
One restaurant will be a table service restaurant with a show, and another a Star Wars Cantina. Both permits have expiration dates for September 2nd, 2019, so it’s possible Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge could be finished by then.
The first permit is for the table service restaurant with a show as you can see in the description tab of the permit:
Here is the second restaurant permit for Galaxy’s Edge which indicate kiosks of some sort:
I can’t wait to see and hear more about these restaurants in Galaxy’s Edge, I’m in love with the idea of a Star Wars restaurant with a show, I know where I’ll be spending my evenings for some time! Here’s hoping for a Galaxy’s Edge Opening Date early in Fall 2019.
What about you?

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
