(UPDATE 9/15/18) After its debut in 2009, it now looks like the Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party in Disney’s Magic Kingdom is coming to an end in December.
Nothing has been confirmed by Disney yet but word is on wdwmagic.com that the Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party will have its final show December 1, 2018, not October 6th as reported before. It’s still unclear however if it will have a new updated version, a total replacement, or nothing at all.
The Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party debuted in 2009, then re-done numerous times in the last 9 years, with the latest version of the show debuting in 2014. Since Disney likes to change up the show pretty often, it’s about that time now and makes sense Disney wants to change it out.
We’ll keep an eye out to see if Disney confirms the final date of Move It! Shake It! Dance and Play It! Street Party. In the meantime get over to Magic Kingdom and check it out one last time while you still can!
