Back in April it was announced that the Patina Group would be adding Maria & Enzo’s to the already vast lineup of Disney Springs restaurants. Now we have more information on Maria & Enzo’s plus hidden Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar and the quick service Pizza restaurant Pizza Ponte.
Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante will be a 1930’s style restaurant serving upscale authentic Italian Cuisine, and will share the location right next to The Edison. It will have high, 50ft ceilings, and grand staircase and great views of Lake Buena Vista. It continues the back story of Disney Springs taking over a former airline terminal and will be filled with travel memorabilia from previous adventures. On the menu there will be Steaks, Eggplant Parmigiana, Chops, and of course many different Pastas.
Adding to this will be Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar, which will be located inside old rum-runner tunnels that were used during the days of prohibition. It will be styled as a “speak-easy” and have a Roman appertivo cocktail bar and be a great environment for any part of the day.
Lastly there’s the Pizza Ponte, which will be a quick service take away pizza place. Even with Blaze Pizza close by I’m sure Pizza Ponte will have the customers as its concept is a bit different. It will serve Pizza al Taglio, which is pizza by the slice, and Sicilian style which tends to be a bit thicker, think closer to the Via Napoli Pizza window in Epcot. They will also have Italian pastries, sandwiches and more.
This was the space that was originally going to be the Neverland Tunnels and Walt’s Place. It’s unclear why Disney decided to change directions, maybe in part because of the upcoming Club 33 coming to the Walt Disney World theme parks, but in either case it’s now going to be run by the Patina Restaurant Group instead.
No opening date as of yet but all 3 restaurants are slated to open in time for the holiday season which isn’t far off. Stay tuned…

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
