In only 6 short weeks from now we will see the debut of the newest nighttime spectacular in Disney’s Magic Kingdom and the replacement for “Wishes,” “Happily Ever After.” Believe me it’s not an easy process creating something of this magnitude. So to show you what goes into something like this, Disney released today a video about the Making of Happily Ever After:
Included in the show will be brand new, cutting edge effects unseen before in Walt Disney World. It uses the very latest in fireworks technology, pyrotechnics, projection and a brand new song that we got a sneak peak at last week! These are all used to do what Disney does best, to tell a story. It’s going to tell stories about many of the Disney characters, more than have ever been used before in a Disney nighttime show.
According to Disney creators, it will take guests on a “Heroes Journey” and teach people never to give up!
Even though I’m sad to see “Wishes” go, I really looking forward to the next chapter in Disney nighttime spectaculars and hope “Happily Ever After” sets the bar for years to come! Be ready May 12th when “Happily Ever After” makes its Walt Disney World debut, and stay on the look out for more updates!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
