According to WDWMagic.com, in Disney’s Animal Kingdom the Kali River Rapids is closing for its annual refurbishment in January 2018. This is a routine refurbishment as it usually closes during the “cold” period of the year so as not to lose too much time when the weather is hot. At least it’s not like the Splash Mountain refurbishment that started back in August when the weather is still hot! Expect Kali River Rapids to close from January 2nd to February 9th, and reopen on February 10th.
There aren’t any major changes being known at the moment, but seems like routine stuff. If there are any changes we’ll let you know!
