Changes Coming to It’s a Small World Queue in Disneyland

There are big changes coming to the It’s a Small World queue in Disneyland this Spring.  This new project will include work on the iconic promenade in the front of the attraction and a relocation of the attraction’s queue.  These changes are being made mostly for logistic purposes, the current location makes it hard to get to Mickey’s Toontown and the Fantasyland Theater when a parade comes through, and with Pixar Fest coming in April, having that area accessible is important.

The new It’s a Small World queue will also create a new stroller parking which should be more convenient.  All of these changes will start once “It’s a Small World” Holiday closes on Jan. 22 and the normal “It’s a Small World” reopens February 2nd.  Expect the attraction to stay open even during the construction of the queue, which should be complete by Spring, when “Pixar Play Parade” starts April 13.

In all it does make sense as that area can get quite congested at times, and with the uptick in traffic due in April, a new queue should serve well.
