Steven Spielberg is getting ready for his next big project, and it’s one that close to many of our hearts. Your favorite explorer/archeologist Dr. Jones is coming back for yet again another installment and Indiana Jones 5 starts filming in April 2019 in the United Kingdom according to Spielberg.
Spielberg filled us in while at the Roundhouse in London where he was presented the Legends of Our Lifetime award during the Rakuten TV Empire Awards.
“It’s always worth the trip when I get to work with this deep bench of talent coming out of the UK. The actors, and the crew, the chippies, the sparks, the drivers — everybody who has helped me make my movies here, and will continue helping me make my movies here when I come back in April 2019 to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie right here.”
So far we don’t know anything big about Indiana Jones 5. We only know that Harrison Ford will again be reprising his role as Indiana Jones, despite the fact that he’ll be 76 years old when he does, and seeing the way he moved in The Force Awakens, I’m not so sure that’s the best idea in the world. No other cast members have been announced yet, but David Koepp was hired in 2016 to write “Indiana Jones 5.” Koepp wrote the last Installment “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” and has previously worked with Spielberg on “Jurassic Park” and “Jurassic Park: the Lost World.”
Indiana Jone 5 has a tentative release date of July 10, 2020. We’ll keep you posted as soon as any other news comes out!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
