Starting April 24th, 2017 the Disneyland Resort will start testing Wifi in the parks. This is something long overdue but something frequent WDW guests take for granted. Already Wifi is available for Disneyland guests in the resorts, but now it will also be available for guests both in Disneyland Park and California Adventure.
This obviously makes sense because of the new Disney MaxPass service coming to Disneyland. MaxPass is a digital FastPass service that will allow guests to book their FastPasses for attractions and shows electronically much like in WDW. With a service like that you need to provide guests with Wifi to use it.
During the testing period you will be able to connect to the network in selected areas throughout the park. It also may be spotty at times and not 100% reliable so have patience as they are working the kinks out.
It is still unsure when the MaxPass service will begin, but it’s looking close with Wifi finally here. For now Disneyland has added in-park FastPass for Toy Story Midway Mania and it will also be available for the Matterhorn Bobsleds once that opens up April 28th.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
