Disney Mobile Order Service Coming to Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

Disney has just announced that its popular Disney Mobile Order service is not only going to be available in the theme parks, but it’s also coming to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels!

Disney Mobile Order food service is coming to select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels over the next few months which will allow guests to save a whole lot of time by ordering food from their favorite quick service dining locations and then skipping the lines and picking up the food directly when it’s ready.

Disney is rolling out this service in only a few hotel dining locations in the beginning, just like they started out slowly in the theme parks. In the next few months expect Mobile Order food service to be available at:

• Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort
• The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
• Contempo Café at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

These dining locations above will join the Centertown Market and Spyglass grill at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort as the only other ones to offer the Mobile Order service in the Disney World Resort hotels.

This service is well spread throughout the Disney theme parks however with it being offered at currently over 20 other quick-service locations throughout the four theme parks and Disney Springs.

With the service, you can order ahead from wherever you happen to be, skip the order line and head directly to the pick-up counter where Cast Members deliver your food – helping you save time to enjoy all there is to see and do at Walt Disney World Resort.

If you haven’t used the Mobile Order service then you really need to give it a try. Just open My Disney Experience App, then browse to the quick service restaurant of choice in the park where you currently are.  Go to the Menu and look through all the options until you make your choice.

Once you decided what you want, place your order. You can do this as far ahead of time as you like. Then when you are at the restaurant and ready to pick up your food simply tap the “I’m Here” button.  You will love it because once your food is ready you can skip the whole line and pick up your food without ever waiting in line!  

This really saves a ton of time and helps guests get the most out of their trip to Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Plus Disney recently made additions to the Mobile Order service making it easier than ever to use.

One of the knocks on Mobile Order is that you couldn’t use it originally if you were on the Disney Dining Plan. That is no longer the case and if you are using the Disney Dining plan, you can redeem your meals and snacks through the service.

The mobile order service is yet another way we are improving the vacation experience for guests through the My Disney Experience app, especially at Disney Resort hotels, where select guests can streamline check in to start their vacation even faster, use their mobile device as a digital key, view bus times and much more.
