UPDATE: 8/30/17 – As you know Chef Mickey’s was supposed to change locations for a couple weeks during July and August due to maintenance. Now we can tell you Chef Mickey’s is changing locations temporarily to the Convention Center in Disney’s Contemporary Resort from “Late November – December.” Yes those dates are a bit vague but it’s all that Disney is giving us right now.
However you will still be able to enjoy the popular Character Buffet just like before at the Convention Center, and since it’s close to the normal location it shouldn’t be that much more difficult getting there. If you have any questions or want to book a reservation you can go online or call (407) WDW-DINE.
UPDATE: 7/19/17 – If you had plans at Chef Mickey’s and were worried about the location change, worry no more. Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort was temporarily changing locations from July 28th – August 13th because of maintenance, but now that is no longer the case and Chef Mickey’s will operate as normal in its usual location.
Original Story: 6/30/17 – One of the most popular restaurants in Walt Disney World Chef Mickey’s, is changing locations temporarily starting July 28th through August 13th due to an unplanned maintenance. Instead of it’s normal location it will be going to the Convention Center at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It’s still unknown what type of maintenance they are doing.
If you have reservations during this time they will still be accepted, just in the new location.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
