As you might have heard, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is undergoing a major construction project, and due to that starting May 1st, Shutters and the Old Port Royale Food Court will be temporarily closed. It isn’t known exactly when they will be re-opening, but it won’t be till later in 2017.
Caribbean Beach guests won’t be left totally high and dry as additional refreshment options will be in place due to the closure of the normal ones. Breakfast and Dinner options will be available at the Centertown location, as well as a Food Truck Location which will serve: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Even though this is a slight inconvenience, the construction project will give a much needed upgrade to the property, and may possibly be part of the new Gondola/Skyway Transportation System between Hollywood Studios and Epcot that’s potentially underway.
Stay tuned for more updates.
I want to know what you think about the Caribbean Beach Food Court Closing. Do you think Disney is giving enough options for it’s guests in light of the construction? Eventually what type of food options would you like to see at the Caribbean Beach Resort? Let us know in the comments section below!
