As you might have heard, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is undergoing a major construction project, and due to that starting May 1st, Shutters and the Old Port Royale Food Court will be temporarily closed. It isn’t known exactly when they will be re-opening, but it won’t be till later in 2017.
Caribbean Beach guests won’t be left totally high and dry as additional refreshment options will be in place due to the closure of the normal ones. Breakfast and Dinner options will be available at the Centertown location, as well as a Food Truck Location which will serve: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Even though this is a slight inconvenience, the construction project will give a much needed upgrade to the property, and may possibly be part of the new Gondola/Skyway Transportation System between Hollywood Studios and Epcot that’s potentially underway.
Stay tuned for more updates.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
