So Florida has a whole other perception than the rest of the country for the word cold, but in any case, Blizzard Beach will be closed on Monday April 16, 2018 due to cold temperatures. The forecast is predicting a high of 72 degrees, and while that’s still warm, it might be a tad to chilly for most to go swimming. So Disney will take the opportunity as a maintenance day as they get ready for the big Summer rush coming up!
Blizzard Beach should be back open on April 17 if you want to go then.
Strangely, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will be open as normal on Monday April 16, so if you’re in the mood for a water park, that will be your only option that day.
