THE CHEW Collective Review: 2016 Epcot Food and Wine Festival
When I heard about the new CHEW Collective booth that was coming this year I got super excited, the location sounded awesome and everything on the menu too. Did it live up to the hype? Let’s take a closer look at one of the best new booths of the year…
Booth:
I love the location of THE CHEW Collective. It’s located on a path walking from World Showcase to Future world on the left hand side on the garden path with: Islands of the Caribbean, Wine and Dine, Chocolate Studio until you get to the end and you find Greenhouse Guru and THE CHEW Collective. I love it because you are secluded away from the chaos that forms on the main promenade of World Showcase, and you are surrounded by beautiful green gardens. It’s really a great spot and relaxing.
There are some nice standing table with some well-needed umbrellas to shelter you from the blazing Florida sun!

Menu review:
Sometimes the new Food and Wine kiosks are hit and miss, but I absolutely love THE CHEW Collective and think the menu is great!
First up is the Grilled Beef Skewer with Romaine, Apricots and Feta Cheese. I’m a sucker for beef skewers as my review of Patagonia shows, and this one is almost just as good.
The beef was cooked great, had a nice grilled taste to it and was very juicy. I loved the combo with the feta cheese salad. I thought the flavors from the grilled beef played well with the feta cheese and enjoyed the whole thing thoroughly. My only critique would be my portion of beef could have been a bit bigger, but overall I thought it was excellent and recommend it highly!
Next up the Ricotta and Zucchini Ravioli with Rustic Tomato Sauce.
This is a great option for vegetarians. As you can see too from the photo, they only give you one Ravioli but it is a really huge Ravioli. I thought it was quite filling and a good value for the price. The inside was stuffed with Ricotta and Zucchini and it tasted very fresh. Check out the inside..
The tomato sauce also tasted fresh, I thought this was a very good option and another solid hit!
Lastly, and probably what I was looking forward to the most: Peanut Butter and White Chocolate Mousse with a Caramel Drizzle!!
First off when I saw it I was taken back by its size because it’s quite small, but when I tasted it I understood that it’s a very rich and decadent dessert and the size they give you is just right imo. Everything about this was awesome…the silky smooth peanut butter mousse, the rich white chocolate and the gooey caramel and crushed peanuts layered throughout….it’s practically heaven! I was blown away and so happy I got this! This better come back again next year!!
The drinks list was the only thing that was a bit lacking in choice, but they offer both the Festival Chardonnay and the Festival Cabernet Sauvignon which are both solid choices.
Booth Summary and Grade:
THE CHEW Collective is quite possibly my favorite new kiosk this year because I think it offers some great savory choices in the Grilled Beef Skewer and the Ravioli, plus a killer dessert, one that landed in my Top 15 Things you Must Try at Food and Wine this year! If they add another option next year along with these it would contend for best overall Kiosk at the festival. I highly recommend you go over and try it, it won’t let you down!
If you have to get just one thing: Peanut Butter and White Chocolate Mousse with a Caramel Drizzle
Grade: 8.5

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.

[…] I love the marketplace location, it tucked over on the path leading from Canada to Future World. You’ll find it past Wine and Dine, Islands of the Caribbean, right next to The CHEW Collective, another one of my favorite new marketplaces. […]
