Good news from Disney today, the Walt Disney World Annual Passes are now available on My Disney Experience App. Before you couldn’t buy them on the app, but now your annual passes can be purchased directly there. Let’s take a look at the options.
Login to My Disney Experience and select the “Buy Annual Passes” button:
Then you have to select where you live as different ticket options will be available to you depending if you’re a Florida resident or not:
Then select the type of pass you would like to buy. These will depend on where you live, but for most the choices will be the Disney Platinum Plus Pass ($949):
Or the Disney Platinum Pass ($849):
Florida residents will be given other ticket options:
Once you’ve made your choice just go to the checkout and pay for your tickets:
Ticket sales are linked to your MDE account. I think this is a very convenient feature, but still doesn’t change a whole lot because even if you buy your annual passes on the My Disney Experience app, you still have to go to Guest Relations to get it validated upon first arrival to the Disney Parks. And there isn’t an option for DVC Members to buy their tickets on the app yet, so they will still have to get them through the DVC Website or at the parks.
I want to know what you think about Disney World Annual Passes being available through the My Disney Experience App.
- Would you buy your tickets this way?
- What improvements should they still make?
