So much for everyone not wanting Avatar coming to the Disney parks. Today TIME Magazine revealed its list of the “Top 100 Destinations in the World” and Pandora: The World of Avatar is on there!
This list was put together by over 1,200 expert nominations from around the world who said: Pandora “recognizes newsworthy, groundbreaking and innovative travel destinations, experiences and companies that stand out in the travel space, influencing both leisure and business travel globally.”
When Pandora opened last year I was completely floored from day 1 and I’m still just as amazed every time I step foot inside this super immersive world that Disney Imagineering has created. Pandora has two attractions: Na’vi River Journey and Flight of Passage, the later which is now my favorite attraction in all of Walt Disney World. Plus it has arguably the best Quick Service restaurant on property in the Satu’li Canteen too. Oh yeah not to mention the lush landscape, vibrant alien plant-life and floating mountains!!
This is not the first time Pandora has won awards. Last year Flight of Passage won the Visual Effects Award from the Visual Effects Society (VES) and it won a TEA Award (Themed Entertainment Association) for “Outstanding Attraction”, and Pandora itself won for “Theme Park Area Development.”
Pandora: The World of Avatar is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before and I highly agree with TIME Magazine! You need to go there ASAP!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
