The Plaza Restaurant in Disney’s Magic Kingdom is now serving alcohol to its guests. This is the second such addition today as it joins the Crystal Palace in adding alcoholic drinks to the menu. Before Be Our Guest opened in 2012, the Magic Kingdom used to be totally dry. The gates have since been opened and The Plaza Restaurant now joins the other 6 that also do.
Here is a look at the alcoholic drink offerings available:
Beer
Bud Light – $7.25
Michelob Ultra – $7.75
Blue Moon – $7.75
Cigar City Jai Alai – $9.25
Wine
Domaine Ste. Michelle Brut – $9/$39
Fess Parker Riesling – $9/$39
Kenwood Sauvignon Blanc – $9/$39
Cambria ‘Benchbreak’ Chardonnay – $11/$49
MacMurray Estate Pinot Noir – $13/$55
J. Lohr ‘Seven Oaks’ Cabernet Sauvignon – $9/$39
Cocktail
Sangria – Kenwood Sauvignon Blanc with Pineapple Juice, Spice and Fruit – $10.25
If the list looks familiar, that’s because it’s the exact same list as the alcoholic drinks available at the Crystal Palace. Some wish that the Magic Kingdom had stuck to its origins of not letting any alcohol in the park, but as long as it stays in the table service restaurants, it shouldn’t be a huge problem imo. What do you think?
Your Thoughts:
I want to know what you think about The Plaza Restaurant now serving alcohol.
- Do you like the change?
- Did you prefer it when there was no alcohol in Disney’s Magic Kingdom?

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.

wow, sorry about the terrible experience you had. It certainly isn't one of my favorite restaurants in Disney World, but still this sounds even worse than usual. Strange too about sharing because we always share plates in the WDW restaurants and never have any problems with it.
