Toy Story Land has only been open for 3 weeks and already there have been changes to the menu at Woody’s Lunch Box. One of the best menu items there, the Monte Cristo sandwich has been removed from the menu despite many citing it as the best item on the menu. Cast members however said that it wasn’t selling enough and management pulled it.
The Monte Cristo at Woody’s Lunch Box was met with some controversy as it wasn’t a true Monte Cristo like the one in Cafe Orleans in Disneyland, but more like ham and turkey between French toast. Either way it was pretty yummy and we’re sad to see it go. It’ll be interesting to see what Disney adds in its place.
Even if you missed the Monte Cristo, Woody’s Lunch Box remains our favorite quick service in Hollywood Studios and there are plenty of amazing options to try still!
The BBQ Brisket Melt for example is ridiculous. Lots of savory, smokey brisket and gooey cheese layered on perfectly grilled sourdough…
Or the three cheese Grilled Cheese on Garlic Buttered Grilled Artisan French Bread is another amazing option…
and don’t forget those Totchos!!
Check out our full review of Woody’s Lunch Box for more and stay tuned to see what replaces the Monte Cristo….

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
