Starting today the Haunted Mansion attraction in Disney’s Magic Kingdom is adding a photo opportunity using the Disney PhotoPass service which will be linked too your MagicBand to take home with you.
I’m honestly surprised they didn’t already have the Disney PhotoPass service inside the Haunted Mansion seeing as it’s one of the most popular attractions in Disney World and there are already 12 other in-ride photo capture opportunities in the Disney World parks. Not to mention it joins more than 100 places where Disney PhotoPass Service captures memories throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
The photo op in the Haunted Mansion is located near the beginning of the attraction.
If you aren’t familiar with how the Disney PhotoPass service works, there are various points throughout the resort like at Character Experiences, dining locations, the most scenic locations around the parks and on the attraction where a camera will take a picture of you and your family to capture that memory forever, long after you’ve returned home.
In order for this new photo opportunity to work on the Haunted Mansion, you need to be wearing a MagicBand while on the ride, which will then link the photo to your MyDisneyExperience account.
Once you go into your account you will then be able to preview, purchase and download this attraction photo. To preview the photo go to: Disneyworld.com/PhotoPass or you can see it in the My Disney Experience app.
And with Memory Maker, all of these Disney PhotoPass photos will follow you home! Make final arrangements to purchase Memory Maker at least three days prior to your vacation at the advance purchase price of $169. Purchase Memory Maker after your vacation for $199.*
