Now we have the name of the new UP! show: “Explorers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure.” This show will still be in the same theater where Flights of Wonder was in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the Explorers Meet UP! Disney has revealed some concept art for “Explorers Meet UP! A Great Bird Adventure” below:
This new show will have Senior Wilderness Explorer Russell and his furry friend Dug as they discover species of birds from around the world in their newest adventure at the Caravan Theater in Anandapur village.
According to a Disney casting call, they are also looking for female actors with a strong dance and movement skills who will play the storyteller role in the show. “Anika: A young woman who lives in the Anandapur Indian village and spends her time as a caretaker of birds in the Caravan aviary. She is the descendent of a Maharani, a free-spirit, and the storyteller in her proud family. Her movement and language are colorful and expressive. She is personable, playful, and at home in nature.”

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
