Just recently Disney released a trailer for the new live-action version of Beauty and the Beast, and it looks absolutely stunning! The visuals are amazing! The beast’s castle really comes to live in this 2 min trailer and brings you back to the 1991 original classic. It broke an online record for the most views with 127.6 million views within 24 hours of its debut.
The hardest thing to do in a live-action version of Beauty and the Beast in my opinion is to get the animated objects right, Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs Potts, etc. From what I can see in the trailer it looks like they did a good job with them, very realistic looking, as much as talking dinnerware can be!
I don’t know how I feel about the Beast’s face though, something about it is a little off, I don’t know exactly what though. Maybe I’ll get used to it.
The movie will include a star-studded cast including: Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Josh Gad and Emma Thompson.
It seems like this new remake will include many of the things that made us fall in love with the 1991 original, award winner music, breath-taking visuals and a colorful supporting cast. I can’t wait to see another trailer.
Beauty and the Beast will be released in theaters on March 17, 2017.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
