Is there anything else better than walking in Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs and watching the amazing cake chefs go to work? Well how about if you could make your own? It may seem impossible if you’ve spent any time at all watching them work, they truly are exceptional. Well now you’re going to have the chance to do just that with Amorette’s Patisserie Cake Decorating experience.
You will get hands-on training by one of Amorette’s pro cake decorators and learn how to create your own Mickey Dome Cake like in the picture above! One of the tricks you will learn is glaçage which is the French technique for getting the top of the cakes “glossy,” as well as learn how to sculpt the ears, tail, belt and buttons. Complementary Coffee, Mimosas and Bellinis will be served.
The event starts March 31st and will run every Friday through May 5th. The cost is $129 plus tax for either 1 or 2 people to work on a single cake. If you want a second cake that can be purchased for $40. Reservations must be made in advance and you can do that starting today DisneyWorld.com/dining.
