With the Summer rush coming up very soon Disney has started to release it’s schedule for park schedules and times. With the opening of Toy Story Land on June 30th, Disney has announced the Hollywood Studios Extra Magic Hours coming in July and August which will allow guests to be able to spend even more time in this exciting new land!
Disney had previously made an announcement about Extra Magic Hours and we know that Every morning in the months of July and August Extra Magic Hours are scheduled in Hollywood Studios from 7:00 – 8:00am. Now there are more Extra Magic Hours coming on select Friday nights from 10:30pm – 12:30am. That should give everyone plenty of time in Toy Story Land, especially when the sun isn’t beating down on you anymore. Extra Magic Hours can be useful to get on the rides, though if you follow our Toy Story Land FastPass+ strategy, you shouldn’t have a problem getting on Slinky Dog Dash or the other attractions.
Disney has already announced plenty of Extra Magic Hours for the Animal Kingdom in May and June, so you can head on over to Pandora and ride Flight of Passage before most of the crowds. This is key especially if you weren’t able to get a FastPass+ for the Pandora attractions.
Of course Extra Magic Hours are only available to Guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, giving you even more incentive to stay on property. Also you can now take advantage of the Disney World Free Dining offer which is going on during some of these dates and might be a money saver for you and your family.
Don’t forget also to check out our latest Toy Story Land Construction update where you can see some Rex theming added to Slinky Dog Dash and also the Woody figure now in place next to the Toy Story Land entrance sign!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
