TRON Lightcycle Run: Virtual Queue & Boarding Groups Guide

With the TRON Lightcycle Run roller coaster having been opened at Disney’s Magic Kingdom since April 2023, you are still going to need to know the best way to ride it.

For the last few years, Disney has been using the Virtual Queue and boarding groups whenever a new E-Ticket attraction opens, which means you need to know how those two things work to ride.

STEP 1: How to Prepare Ahead of Time

The very first thing you need to do before using the Virtual Queue is to download the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device.

STEP 2: Pre-Selecting Your Party

Pre-selecting your party can be done as early as 6:00 am on the morning of your booking, though you don’t need to wake up that early.

STEP 3: Making Reservations

At 6:50 am, open up My Disney Experience. This will give you at least 10 minutes before the distribution window opens to get ready.

How Do I Know When My Boarding Group is Ready?

Check the "Virtual Queues" section in your My Disney Experience app to view your current queues and the remaining wait time until your turn.

Keep an eye on this because your estimated return time updates constantly and counts down the minutes until your group is called.
