It is an understatement to say that the Virtual Queue has not been the most popular addition to the Disney parks in the last few years. As soon as it was first introduced on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Disney started to get immediate pushback from guests.

They didn’t stop there, however, and it’s been used in a handful of other rides in both Disney World and Disneyland.

So what’s not to like about it? Well, for one thing, it limits the number of guests that can ride a specific attraction on a given day, and when little kids (and some not-so-little kids) travel hundreds or even thousands of miles to miss their favorite attraction, tears are shed.
