In this story, we are going to go over go over all the new changes to the WDW Annual Pass program including AP ticket types, prices, perks, blockout dates, add-ons, and more.
While many aspects of the new annual pass program are the same, there are a bunch of changes to be aware of before deciding whether it makes sense to buy one for yourself or not.
Some big changes were recently announced to the Disney park pass reservation system, including eliminating park reservations for most ticket types which began on January 9th, 2024.
“Good-to-go days” began in January and will be updated regularly on the reservation calendar showing annual passholders select days they can visit the Disney theme parks without needing a reservation.
So far in 2024 we’ve found these good-to-go days not be as frequent as we hoped for. They tend to not open up until a few days before on the Disney Annual Pass Calendar.
We also were delighted on
January 9, 2024 when park reservations stopped being required for many ticket types, and passholders could now park hop to a second park that day as soon as they visit the first park.
