Indiana Jones & Encanto Land Coming to Animal Kingdom

A new expansion is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Encanto and Indiana Jones will replace DinoLand U.S.A. in a much-needed reimagining called Pueblo Esperanza.

We finally have confirmation that the project is almost ready to begin construction and demolition of DinoLand USA will begin shortly.

Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro made the announcement at the “Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase” during the D23 Expo at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

He revealed that an all-new land will be replacing DinoLand and it will be based around the Tropical Americas theme (as we knew already).

He also revealed the name of this new land: “Pueblo Esperanza” or roughly translated “Village of Hope.”
